On Saturday 21st of April, Flanagan and Chugg Taekwondo were proud to host seminars with Olympic Gold Medallist, Lauren Burns and Fellow Olympian and multiple Australian champion, Warren Hansen. The day feaured both junior and senior seminars. The junior seminar was attended by 35 students whilst 94 students attended the senior seminar.

Lauren gave an inspiring presentation about her competitive and Olympic experiences. Messages about overcoming injury, the importance of self belief and goal setting figured prominently in her presentation. Warren and Lauren then took the groups through an action packed and informative skills session.

At the end of it all Lauren spent over an hour signing autographs, chatting and posing for photos. The lasting impression was of two people who had achieved an enormous amount in Taekwondo, yet were still warm, approachable and incredibly giving of their time. It was a great day for Flanagan and Chugg Taekwondo. We hope Lauren and Warren enjoyed their day too.
